A little while ago a friend of ours taught us about making soap. Even the very basic bars we made in class were so much better than mass produced soaps that it immediately caught our attention. What if we went further? So I started to work on a base recipe that made a good solid bar of soap, that was great for the skin & that we could easily add all kinds of things to, to make amazing bars of soaps for all kinds of purposes. Then we talked to our friends about what they might like out of a soap and started customising recipes to meet specific needs (we really enjoy doing that so don't be shy about asking for something special!). Then my Daughter & I got busy making a whole bunch of soaps and learning how to make all kinds of other bathroom products... Our recipe book gets bigger every day.
